The space
A sanctuary, not a place to crash
Private, clean, and bright. The Treehouse is a 700 square foot hilltop apartment in a Frank Lloyd Wright style, three-story mid-century home built into the hillside. Windows frame the oaks and the East Bay hills, and the private deck looks straight out to Mt. Diablo.
The kitchen is the real deal: ample granite counters, lit cabinetry, quality appliances, a new induction cooktop, Italian chef grade cookware, and a large island with counter stools. Coffee comes three ways, with a Keurig Elite, a French press, and a pour-over.
The bedroom has a vintage wrought iron bed dressed in bamboo modal sheets, a down-alternative comforter, Tempur-Pedic pillows, and a quality mattress with a memory foam topper. Custom darkening curtains, a French linen divan, and a large cedar closet finish the room. The sofa and ottoman are custom made.
You have your own private entrance and keyless self check-in, with no shared spaces. We live in the main house, so you have complete privacy and friendly help close by if you need it. Ideal for business travelers, couples, and solo guests.
